Our mission

We want every traveler to have a fantastic trip in Korea — and up-to-date, easy-to-follow information is how we help.

Korea is an easy country to travel once you know how things work, and a confusing one until you do. Which transit card should you buy? Why won't the booking site take your card? Which app actually works for directions? We write clear, current, step-by-step answers to those questions, plus guides to the cities and small towns beyond Seoul — so you can travel on your own with confidence, skip the stress and enjoy every day of your trip.

How we make our guides

• Every guide shows a "last checked" date. Prices, opening hours and rules in Korea change often. When something changes, we update the guide or flag it.
• We link to official sources — the Korea Tourism Organization, Korail, city governments and the services themselves — so you can confirm details before you go.
• We keep facts and opinions apart. Prices, hours, rules and step-by-step procedures come from official sources and are listed at the end of each guide. Our own recommendations and local tips are clearly labeled as ours.
• We use AI tools to help research and draft our guides. Every guide is then checked against official sources before it's published.
• We're based in Korea, so we write from local know-how, not from a guidebook.
