K-pop in Seoul: Concert Tickets, Venues and Music Shows for Visitors

Quick answer
- Buy on the ticket site's global version: NOL World (formerly Interpark Global), YES24 TICKET Global or Melon Ticket Global. NOL World and Melon Ticket Global only take cards issued outside Korea.
- Make your account name match your passport. Some shows sell only to members who verify with a passport and a face scan; do it a day or two before tickets open. Photos or copies of a passport aren't accepted.
- Don't buy from resellers. The ticket sites may cancel tickets traded outside official channels without a refund and check ID at the venue. Since August 28, 2026, the Performance Act has prohibited bypassing the original seller's fair purchase process to buy tickets for resale, and resale or brokering above the price paid, without the seller's consent, when done habitually or as a business.

Resale and scalping rules
- The ticket sites: NOL World bans trading outside official channels, including individual trading and proxy booking, and says such tickets may be cancelled immediately without a refund. It may check ID at the venue, so book in your own name and bring photo ID.
- Some shows check everyone: one NOL World show page says every guest's identity is verified on site, with a wristband for entry.
- The law: an amendment to Korea's Performance Act, in force since August 28, 2026, bans buying tickets by bypassing the seller's purchase process (for example with bots) in order to resell them, and habitual or business resale above the price paid without the seller's consent. Violations can bring up to one year in prison or a fine of up to ₩10 million.
This is a summary of the law, not legal advice.

Getting to the big venues
| Venue | Nearest station | Note |
|---|---|---|
| KSPO DOME, Olympic Park (424 Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu) | Olympic Park Station (Lines 5 and 9), Exit 3 | Take public transport on event days; partial closures for utility work until Dec 25, 2026 |
| Gocheok Sky Dome (430 Gyeongin-ro, Guro-gu) | Guil Station (Line 1), Exit 2, about 3 minutes on foot | To avoid crowds, the operator suggests Guro Station (about 20 min walk) or Gaebong Station (about 15 min) |

- KSPO DOME holds around 15,000, KTO says. Olympic Park's operator asks visitors to use buses and the subway on big event days, and gives no parking discount for ticket holders.
- INSPIRE Arena: from November 1, 2026, the resort's Hongdae–Myeongdong shuttle is for hotel guests only. The resort warns concertgoers that the free shuttles may be full at the time they want.

Music show audiences
Getting into a live music show takes planning, and the official routes are narrow:
- KBS Music Bank: you apply on the Korean page on Thursday and Friday the week before, two seats per person with your companion's name. Winners get a text message on a mobile phone. Both people need their original ID (no copies or photos), and no one under 15 is admitted. Buying, selling or passing on audience tickets is banned.
- MBC Show! Music Core: an October 2026 notice says 25 winners per show are drawn from members of its viewer panel who took part in panel votes. No one under 15 is admitted, even with a parent.
- SBS Inkigayo and Mnet M Countdown: we couldn't find official audience information we could verify, so we don't describe them.
KBS and MBC don't say whether foreign visitors can apply. Winners are notified by text, so you'd need a phone that receives Korean texts: see our eSIM and SIM card guide.

- HYBE INSIGHT at HYBE's Yongsan building closed in January 2023. HYBE says its exhibitions continue at other places, announced on its social media.
