KPop Demon Hunters in Seoul: The Real Places and How to Visit Them

Quick answer
- Places Netflix and Korea's tourism agencies all name: Naksan Park's city wall, N Seoul Tower, Bukchon Hanok Village, COEX K-pop Square and Myeongdong. Gyeongbokgung and Cheongdam Bridge are named too.
- The stadium under N Seoul Tower isn't real. You can visit the tower, but the concert venue was made up for the film.
- Events have ended. The drone shows and pop-ups we found are over. As of Nov 4, 2026, we found no official pop-up, guided tour or dedicated store running in Seoul.
KPop Demon Hunters, Netflix's animated film released on June 20, 2025, draws on real Seoul places you can visit: Naksan Park's city wall, N Seoul Tower, Bukchon Hanok Village, COEX K-pop Square, Myeongdong, Gyeongbokgung and Cheongdam Bridge. It's animation, so none of these are filming locations, and the stadium under N Seoul Tower doesn't exist. The official drone shows and pop-ups we found have ended.

We only call a place a film location if Netflix or a Korean public tourism body says so. Fan lists online name more, including subway stations and specific Han River parks. We couldn't confirm those, so they aren't here. We use no film images and don't recommend private tours.

Naksan Park and the city wall
This is the walk fans ask about when they search for the "city wall". It's free, and the wall trail is open 24 hours.
- The section: Walk from Hyehwamun through Naksan Park to Heunginjimun. The official page lists the full Hyehwamun–Gwanghuimun course as about 3.2 km and 1 hour 30 minutes; stopping at Heunginjimun is a shorter walk.
- Short way in: Hyehwa Station (Line 4) Exit 2, about 20 minutes on foot to the park entrance, then about 5 minutes to the top.
- From the north end: Hansung Univ. Station (Line 4) Exit 4, about 3 minutes on foot to Hyehwamun.
- By bus: Dongdaemun Station Exit 5, then village bus Jongno 03 to the Naksan Park stop at the end of the line.
- People live here. The course passes through Jangsu and Ihwa villages, and the city wall office asks walkers not to disturb residents.

N Seoul Tower: the tower is real, the stadium isn't
Netflix and KTO both say the concert stage under the tower is fictional, so don't go looking for it.
The observatory is open 10:00–22:30, or until 23:00 on weekends and holidays. Adult tickets (13+) cost ₩29,000 at the operator's prices. A Visit Seoul page from September 2026 shows ₩26,000, which doesn't match, so we go with the operator. For the cable car, buses and walking routes, see our N Seoul Tower guide.

Bukchon Hanok Village
People live in these houses. In the Red Zone around Bukchon-ro 11-gil, tourists can only visit from 10:00 to 17:00, and breaking the rule can bring a ₩100,000 fine, foreigners included. See our Bukchon visiting rules before you go.

COEX K-pop Square
It's a public plaza under the giant LED screen at COEX Artium, 513 Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu. We found no schedule, and nothing official says the film's video is showing now, so go for the screen itself and treat anything else as luck. Follow directions to COEX Artium's outdoor screen, and confirm the walking route on the venue map.

Myeongdong, Gyeongbokgung and Cheongdam Bridge
- Myeongdong: KTO names it as the site of the Saja Boys' surprise performance. Netflix points to the round pattern on the pavement in front of Myeongdong Theater. See our Myeongdong guide.
- Gyeongbokgung: normally closed Tuesdays. If that's a public or substitute holiday, it opens and closes on the first following non-holiday. See our palace guide for hours and winter last entry. KTO says you can see the Sun, Moon and Five Peaks screen shown behind one stage at Geunjeongjeon Hall.
- Cheongdam Bridge: a double-deck bridge with Line 7 below and cars above. We couldn't confirm a public walkway or official viewpoint on it, so we can't tell you where to stand. Jayang Station Exit 3 is the nearest stop Visit Seoul lists, and exits 2 and 3 connect to Ttukseom Hangang Park.

Two places with a catch
- Lotte World Tower: the tower itself isn't in the film. Netflix says the film puts a fictional, taller building on the site. If you still want to go up, see our Seoul Sky guide.
- Seoul Olympic Stadium (Jamsil): Netflix says an early concert scene is set here, but the stadium is being remodeled. The city lists the work as running until December 30, 2026. Don't plan on going in. We couldn't find a reopening date.

The culture behind the film
KTO's guide links several details in the film to things you can see in Korea. These are KTO's readings, not statements from the filmmakers.
- The tiger and magpie: KTO links them to Jakhodo, Korean folk paintings of tigers and magpies, and points to the National Museum of Korea.
- The museum shop: KTO says the MU:DS shop sells items inspired by the film's characters. We couldn't confirm that the museum links them to the film, and we can't promise stock.
- Dancheong and the royal screen: KTO points to Gyeongbokgung for painted palace colors and the screen at Geunjeongjeon Hall.
National Museum of Korea: it isn't a film location. It's open 9:30–17:30, and until 21:00 on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Entry is free except for special exhibitions. The permanent galleries close on Dec 7, 2026. Take Line 4 or the Gyeongui-Jungang Line to Ichon Station, Exit 2.
